About this tour
An overnight excursion built around one moment: sunrise from the 2,285-meter summit of Mount Sinai. The guided ascent begins around 2am and takes roughly two and a half hours on foot (a camel is available for most of the route, for an additional cost); after sunrise and the descent, the trip continues to the 6th-century St. Catherine's Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built around the traditional site of the Burning Bush.
