Ночная экскурсия построена вокруг одного момента: восход солнца с 2285-метровой вершины горы Синай. Подъем начинается примерно в 2 часа ночи и занимает примерно два с половиной часа пешком (верблюд доступен для большей части маршрута, за дополнительную плату); после восхода солнца и спуска поездка продолжается до монастыря Святой Екатерины 6-го века, объекта Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО, построенного вокруг традиционного места Горящего Буша.
