A Photographer, by the Hour

Experience RatingCairo and Giza

Not an itinerary — a photographer, for as long as you want one. Bring them to the pyramids for an hour, keep them for a whole day across the city, or have them quietly cover a proposal, a birthday or a family trip. You choose the where and the how long; we match the photographer to it.

What You’ll Do

  1. 1

Tell us the shape of it

Where you will be, how long you want a photographer there, and what the photographs are for. That is the whole brief.

  2. 2

    Matched to a photographer

Cairo photographers specialise — documentary, portrait, wedding, fashion. We match the one whose work fits what you described rather than sending whoever is free.

  3. 3

    The shoot itself

They meet you where you are and work around your day rather than running it.

  4. 4

    Your edited images

Edited photographs delivered afterwards, to a count and a turnaround agreed before you book.

Included

  • ✓A photographer for the hours you book
  • ✓Matching the photographer to the brief
  • ✓Edited images, to an agreed count

Good to Know

The practical truth about this one — timings, conditions, and what we can’t promise.

  • This is a service, not a tour. There is no itinerary, no guide and no transport unless you ask for them.
  • Site entry is separate. The pyramids, museums and ticketed sites each have their own rules for professional photography, and some require a permit we have to arrange in advance.
  • Egyptian law requires consent before photographing a person, and photographing children is not permitted. That applies to a hired photographer too.
  • Tell us the hours and the locations when you enquire. The rate for an hour at one location and a full day across the city are not the same thing, and we would rather quote you properly than post a number that fits neither.
  • For a planned shoot with a route built around the light, the Zamalek photoshoot is the better product.

“The Pyramid and Sphinx tour with our photographer absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our photographer provided deep and engaging insights about the Pyramids, temples, and Sphinx throughout the tour, bringing ancient history to life with passion and clarity. He went above and beyond—not just as a guide, but even helping us negotiate with local vendors, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. The itinerary was…”

Wadi Degla: Canyon Hike, Sunset and Stars

A limestone canyon inside the city limits. Wadi Degla is a protected area at the edge of Maadi — a dry riverbed cut through fossil-bearing rock, walked out in the afternoon, turned around for sunset on the canyon wall, and dark enough afterwards for a sky Cairo normally hides.
