A 4x4 safari deep into Egypt's Western Desert — the volcanic hills of the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain's quartz-covered slopes, the sculpted formations of Agabat Valley, and a night camping in the White Desert itself, where wind-carved chalk formations turn gold and then silver as the sun sets and the stars come out.
