When Do You Get Your Photos? Delivery and Editing Explained

Delivery is the part of a photoshoot that gets agreed vaguely and remembered precisely. You will not think about it while booking. You will think about it a great deal on day nine of waiting.

What you get, and when

• The raw, unedited photos — the same day as your Pyramids session.
• 80+ edited pictures from that session.
• An optional larger gallery of 100+ high-resolution edited images, within five days.
• 24-hour follow-up after the shoot, for anything that needs sorting out.

The same-day raw files are the part worth understanding. It means you see what was shot while you are still in Egypt — still able to ask about a frame, still in the country if something needs revisiting — rather than landing home and hoping.

How that compares

A common structure elsewhere delivers around 20 edited images from a one-hour session, rising to roughly 50 for four hours, with the gallery arriving up to two weeks later. Two weeks is after most travelers have flown home, unpacked, and lost the thread of the trip.

What editing actually means

Colour, exposure, contrast and crop — the work that turns a correct frame into a finished photograph. It is not a redrawing of you. High-end retouching is a separate thing, available as an upgrade on the flying dress sessions, and it is worth being clear which one you are being promised.

“Do photographers edit the photos?” is a question with an easy yes and a harder follow-up: how many of them. A shoot that takes six hundred frames and edits twenty has not given you six hundred photographs.

Why you also want the raw files

Because an edit is a choice. Getting the unedited set means the frames nobody selected are still yours — including, occasionally, the one you would have picked.

Ask when the photographs arrive before you ask how many. A large gallery two weeks after you land home is worth less than a smaller one you saw the same evening.
