Une matinée à explorer la collection de la place Tahrir du Musée égyptien — qui abrite toujours la plupart des trésors de Toutânkhamon non transférés au Grand Musée égyptien —, suivie d'un après-midi dans la vieille ville fortifiée du Caire copte : l'église Suspendue, la synagogue Ben Ezra et l'église Saint-Serge, construite au-dessus d'une grotte où la tradition veut que la Sainte Famille se soit abritée.
