Combining a Photoshoot With a Tour in Egypt
How a photoshoot fits into a touring itinerary, which trips already include one, and why doing both on the same Giza day is the efficient version.
Most people book the tour first and think about photographs afterwards, which is the expensive way round. You are going to Giza anyway. The only question is whether someone is photographing you properly while you are there.
Itineraries that already include a photoshoot
Three of our multi-day trips build a Giza photoshoot into the Pyramids day rather than leaving it as something to arrange separately:
- 8 Days Essential Egypt + 5-Day Nile Cruise — the Giza day includes the photoshoot.

If one of those is already your trip, the photographer is part of the plan and there is nothing else to book.
Adding one to any other tour
A photoshoot can be arranged alongside any of our tours. Mention it when you book the trip rather than afterwards, so the Giza day is built with the session in it — which usually means starting earlier and taking the light rather than the queue.
Sunrise is the slot that costs you least from an itinerary. It is finished before most touring days properly begin.
Why the same day works
- One journey to Giza instead of two. Pickup and drop-off are included either way, but your time is not infinite.
- You are already dressed for the site and already there at the right hour.
- The photographs are of the day you actually had, not a staged return visit.
When to keep them separate
If the photographs are the point of the trip — a proposal, a milestone, a flying dress session — give them their own morning. A shoot squeezed into a full touring day is a shoot with one eye on the clock, and it shows.
