What’s Included in a Pyramids Photoshoot (and What Isn’t)

Exactly what comes with a Pyramids photoshoot — photographer, equipment, transport, edited gallery — and the one thing you still pay for at the gate.

“What’s included” is the question that decides most photoshoot bookings, and the one most often answered vaguely. Here is the full list for a Pyramids session — including the part that is not included, which is the part worth knowing before you are standing at the gate.

What comes with the session

  • A private professional photographer — the session is yours, not a shared slot.
  • Professional camera equipment. You bring nothing.
  • Private transportation, with hotel pickup and drop-off.
  • Parking and road tolls.
  • 80+ edited pictures.
  • 24-hour follow-up after the shoot.

What is not included

Site entrance tickets. You buy those at the gate, and they are the only cost to expect on the day beyond the package itself.

It is a small thing stated plainly and a genuinely annoying thing discovered late, which is why it is worth asking every operator directly. A package that does not mention tickets either way is not telling you it includes them.

How many photographs, and when

80+ edited pictures from the Pyramids session. You also get the raw, unedited photos the same day, so you leave with your images rather than waiting on them from another continent. An optional larger gallery of 100+ high-resolution edited images is available within five days.

This is worth comparing carefully. A common structure elsewhere delivers around 20 edited images from a one-hour session, rising to roughly 50 for four hours, with the gallery arriving up to two weeks later. Photo count and delivery date are the two numbers to get in writing anywhere you book.

Do photographers edit the photos? They should, and the number that matters is how many edited images you are promised — not how many frames were taken on the day.

What costs extra

  • Arabian horse photography — or one of the two dedicated horse packages, at $120 and $160.
  • A camel experience.
  • A professional video Reel, if you want moving footage as well as stills.
  • A group photoshoot, for larger parties.
  • The larger 100+ image high-resolution gallery.

How payment works

A deposit secures your date. The balance is paid the same day, after the photoshoot, in cash or by transfer — so the bulk of it is settled once you have seen what was shot.

What is included in the other packages

The flying dress sessions — $199 in the sand dunes near Giza, $219 at Fayoum’s Wadi El Rayan and the Magic Lake — run an hour and include the dress, which is the main practical difference from a standard session. The Pyramids Proposal Romance Setup is $150 for a styled setup ready before you arrive, with photography available as an add-on rather than built in. Each package page lists its own inclusions.

الأسئلة الشائعة

A private professional photographer, professional camera equipment, private transportation with hotel pickup and drop-off, parking and road tolls, 80+ edited pictures, and 24-hour follow-up after the shoot.

Judge a photoshoot package on three things: how many edited photographs you are promised, when they arrive, and what you will still be paying for on the day. Everything else is presentation.
