About this tour
Esna's Temple of Khnum sits nine meters below the modern town, only fully excavated in recent years — one of the best-preserved ceiling reliefs in Egypt, and one of the least crowded major temples on the Nile. A short trip from Luxor, often combined with watching river traffic pass through the Esna lock.
