There aren’t enough words to describe how absolutely amazing my experience with Egypt Eye, Fady, Mark, Michael our tour guide, and our driver Uncle (as our group affectionately called him) was. Michael is a egyptologist and he had so much knowledge to share. Every question we asked him, he gave an answer.
From the planning stages, Fady very patient with my multiple messages, emails, questions, and itinerary changes. Fady is amazing at communicating and I can’t tell him thank you enough.
Unfortunately I encountered an emergency on the 2nd day of my visit to Cairo, and Egypt Eye took care of me immediately, and I did not pay a cent for the emergency care I received. They were empathetic, warm, and caring. They worked with my group to rearrange our itinerary day by day as it was completely thrown off due to the treatment I needed.
We had an ugly incident with a man in a store and they stood by us 100%. They ate with us, they sat with is, they listened to us, and they treated us like we were family. I’ll never forget Michael our tour guide saying “you are our guests, you deserve the best.”
My favorite thing of all was they threw me a birthday party at a local Cairo restaurant with musicians, a dj, and a huge cake. I’m still over the moon about that.
Our tour of the pyramids, and the photoshoot Fady and Jonathan did were amazing. I will be framing several of the photos and hanging them up in my home.
The food tour was amazing as I walked through downtown Cairo on a Friday night and ate and drank amongst the local people.
We also did a visit to Royal Perfume with Egypt Eye, and Michael recommended lotus flower and papyrus oils to us, and every member of or group purchased them after we tried them.
They took us to Topaz Bazaar, and we all loved it. Everyone in our group got something from this lovely store.
I can’t simply recommend Egypt Eye. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE needing a tour guide in Egypt to book with them. They are simply the absolute best.
